Am I just reading into it? It seems some grandparents treat the step-kids who are not "related" to them different than those that are "biologically" related. What should I say to them if anything? Anyone out there who has experiences with this topic?

Sorry, but the truth is they are different. This is why couples with prior kidlets from other relationships will always miss out. Think twice about adding more kids to the 'new' situation.

That's great advice...but now it's too late, I'm already involved. Getting a divorce is not the solution I'm looking for. Now that I am in this situation I was hoping to hear from people who may have experience, advice or comments on a more positive and realistic level.
